CM Shri Chouhan begins new year with welfare of the poor

Makes assistance available to weaker sections 

Bhopal : Friday, January 1, 2021,

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan started the new year with welfare of the poor. On the first day of the new year, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan reached Panchsheel Nagar Basti in Indore to meet people and provided various kinds of assistance to the needy people of the weaker section. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan visited people belonging to the poor section residing in Panchsheel Nagar slum and listened to their woes. He met 65-year-old paralytic Dwarika Bail and gave directions to the Collector Shri Manish Singh to ensure her treatment. Dwarika Bai had met Chief Minister long ago. His photograph with the Chief Minister is displayed in his house. Dwarika Bai, overwhelmed by the love of Shri Chouhan could not control her tears and she wept bitterly leaning on the shoulder of the Chief Minister.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also met four-year old Aditya and patted him. Aditya is disabled since birth and his father Govind, who works in a clothes shop, is trying his best to treat him. Shri Chouhan assured his parents that Aditya will be given the best treatment. He assured Aditya’s father Govind that he is with him in this time of struggle. Shri Chouhan instructed the district administration to provide the best treatment to Aditya.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also met the residents of this society developed for the Economically Weak Section and through them, greeted the whole of Indore on New Year.

Quick assistance received

The needy people whom the Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan met in Panchsheel Nagar, were provided prompt assistance by the District Administration on the instructions of Chief Minister. Shri Chouhan also distributed assistance to the families of the needy at the airport.

Chief Minister provided laptop and tri-cycle to disabled Shubhangi, daughter of Shri Vicky Kamble. In this sequence, Shri Chouhan instructed the district administration to provide financial assistance and ensure treatment of four-year-old Aditya, son of Govind Sawang who was seriously ill, in a good hospital. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan provided a letter of approval of Rs one lakh from Red Cross Society to Aditya’s father Govind at the airport.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan gave letter of widow pension and sewing machine to Deepali, wife of late Gautam Tailang, He handed over the letter of approval of Rs one lakh from the Red Cross Society for the treatment of paralysis of Dwarika Bai, wife of Late Balchand Ingle to their son Govinda. This amount has already been deposited in her account. He instructed the district administration to get Dwarika Bai treated in a good hospital.
